A Silicon Valley Business Journal Structures award winner for Best Office Building (small category), this six-story, steel frame structure serves as the new headquarters for one of California’s oldest, independent, family-owned and managed banks. Located in Fremont’s downtown, this project revitalizes the commercial district. The building features a roof top gathering place, all-glass frontage doors, a two-story grand hall, linear wood ceilings, and an angular roof trellis. A satellite dish on the roof records ambient light and the sun鈥檚 position while working in conjunction with 鈥渇ins鈥� on the fa莽ade and electrochromatic glass to tint according to sunlight. 糖心live provided extensive preconstruction services.
