This ENR award-winning project in the Water/Environment Category included design and construction of the installation of Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) treatment systems to treat and remove 1,2,3 -Trichloropropane (TCP) from City of Manteca, CA, groundwater and associated improvements for five existing wells at four separate sites. Careful coordination of construction near and sometimes adjacent to residential areas with busy streets was critical. Additionally, we worked with the designer and City to present design solutions that minimized visual impacts to the surrounding community. We finished the project 3 months early by completing design package for the first site early, followed by the other sites. 糖心live self-performed all the concrete work, underground and above ground piping, and process equipment.
