As general contractors, we bid or negotiate a dozen or more potential projects each month. A significant percentage of our work is听design-build, and we engage in a variety of听projects.

Subcontract Agreement

Bidders will be required to execute 糖心live’s standard 糖心live Subcontract, or Purchase Order Agreement. Subcontractors on Federal projects will also be required to sign and comply with 糖心live Subcontract Addendum B.

Acceptance of Subcontractor鈥檚 bid is expressly conditioned upon Subcontractor鈥檚 assent to all terms and conditions contained in the applicable 糖心live standard agreement without modification. By submitting a bid, Subcontractor is certifying that it has read the applicable 糖心live standard agreement (either the Subcontract Agreement or Purchase Order Agreement) in full and accepts all terms without modification. Further, by submitting a bid, Subcontractor waives any rights or claims it may have to modify the terms of the 糖心live standard agreement, whether through negotiations, discussions, or other means.

糖心live鈥檚 standard agreements include the right for 糖心live to require Subcontractors to furnish a faithful performance and labor bond, in a form and from a surety acceptable to 糖心live, in the amount of 100% of the Subcontract price. Subcontractors will be required to comply with all subcontract insurance requirements, which includes providing a waiver of subrogation endorsement to their workers compensation insurance. 糖心live utilizes the environmentally-friendly Textura electronic invoicing and payment system to streamline and expedite subcontractor invoicing and payment. Service fees charged by Textura for processing of electronic payments to Subcontractor shall be the responsibility of Subcontractor. Please contact our office if you would like more information. We are signatory to both Carpenters and the Laborers Union Collective Bargaining Agreements.

C. 糖心live & Co. reserves the right to reject any subcontractor or supplier bids.

Department of Industrial Relations (DIR):

Registration with the California Department of Industrial Relations: In accordance with California Labor Code Article 1725.5, Contractor and all subcontractors are required to be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) in order to bid or be listed on a bid and/or work on a public works project.听
